Obwohl Ralf Rabendorn schon zuvor Musik unter eigenem Namen
veröffentlicht hat, ist dies letztlich sein erstes
"offizielles"
(weil zum ersten Male regulär und in
größerer Stückzahl veröffentlicht)
Solo Album. Rabendorn war zuvor v.a. bekannt von exerimentelleren Bands
und
Projekten, doch ist dies (zumindest Solo)
eine Rückkehr zu seinen Wurzeln.

MAHLZEIT!
De Aufnahmen sind übrigens bereits 2016 entstanden und sie
wurden
von Rabendorn ursprünglich nicht unbedingt für eine
Veröffentlichung vorgesehen und somit fast vergessen, bis die
Labelchefin eine zwingende Veröffentlichung vorschlug! Wegen
Corona musste die VÖ von 2020 auf 2021 verlegt werden.
Die gepresste CD kommt im Digisleeve mit extra Textheftchen
Corona hat unseren physischen Vertrieb lahmgelegt, weshalb wir momentan
im Eigenvertrieb agieren, daher ist die CD "nur" bei uns auf der
Webpage, Bandcamp und unserem Ebay Shop erhältlich.
Wir versenden weltweit!! So kommt das wenige Geld auch wenigstens bei
uns an.

Although Ralf Rabendorn has released music under his own name before,
this is ultimately his first "official" solo album (because it's the
first
time he's released regularly and in larger quantities). Musically, it's
a return to his roots.
-Pressed CD in digisleeve
plus booklet
-Deutsch-Rock-Indie-Blues with some alternative folk!
-Standing with at least one wooden leg in the underground!
-13 dirty hymns with great lyrics!
-A certain "Ralli Rock" is also present on lead
guitar and rusty nose flute !
-The complete album was deliberately recorded old-school on an 8 track
cassette recorder!
-Rough charm, a voice shaped by whisky and "the core of every poodle"
(doesn't make much sense in English) included!
-Goes well with any dish and any alcoholic beverage!

By the way, the recordings were already made in 2016 and were
originally not intended for release by Rabendorn and thus almost
forgotten until the label boss suggested a release. Because of Corona,
the release date had to be moved from 2020 to 2021.
Corona has crippled our physical distribution, so we are currently
self-distributing, so the CD is "only" available from us on our own
webpage, Bandcamp and our Ebay store.
We ship worldwide!!
So the little money goes at least to us and not to all the middlemen.

Finally the full 4th length album "Exile" by Mr. Ralf Rabendorn
that comes out just one day before the official End of the World!
This album has more different (experimental) rock elements than earlier
solo albums, though it is not a typical rock album, of course.
Still MedusaDa, still a mix of different styles like: noisy post rock,
avantgarde, avant--prog-rock, dark ambient, krautrock elements and
experimental music in general.
Mr. Rabendorn recorded the majority of songs already in 2008. He almost
didn't release this jewel, that also features a 5 songs with words
written by Mr. Gregory James Wyrick
(*).
Everything else was written and performed by Rabendorn himself on
instruments like electr. guitars, bass, acoustic drums, piano etc..no
computer stuff!
"Exile" is a concept album. It's about you, about me. You may not
understand every word of the German and English lyrics but you may
enjoy it, especially if you kept yourself some of your childish
imagination.
This release is a triple label collaboration release of Against
it Records & ContraMusikProduktion
& Global Hideout.
The latter is officially offering the digital version,
too and you can also buy the CD through their store.
